The institutional landscape has changed. The need for evidence has not.
For decades, funders placing capital across Latin America and the Caribbean could lean on a broader ecosystem — a bilateral agency. An implementing partner, with monitoring systems and accumulated institutional knowledge about which organizations were ready to deliver. Even if that ecosystem wasn't perfect, it did provide a shared layer of reference.

The Due Diligence Review
A factual verification of legal standing, operational existence, and integrity: registration, financials, sanctions and watchlist screening. Every finding is sourced, with the verification method documented, so the facts a funder needs are confirmed before capital moves.
Independent verification
We confirm what we can without the organization's help — pulling public records and reaching community members, officials, and peers directly. For every finding, we can name the document and how it was verified.

Funders are asked to commit capital with far less independent evidence than the stakes deserve. And capable, community-rooted organizations are overlooked when a lack of formal documentation is mistaken for a lack of capability — strong in practice, thin on paper.
Veritas Bridge Partners exists to close that gap. Who stands behind the work
Veritas Bridge Partners was founded by Joaquín A. Labour-Acosta, a data-intelligence and institutional-philanthropy specialist with nearly two decades of due-diligence and compliance discipline inside major grant-making institutions — including managing due diligence and compliance across a $270 million portfolio at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, alongside roles at the Prudential Foundation and the F.B. Heron Foundation. Dominican-educated and bilingual in English and Spanish, he built Veritas Bridge Partners to bring that discipline to a region where a lack of formal documentation is too often mistaken for a lack of capability.

Rather than a single score, it documents where an organization genuinely stands — mission, financial stewardship, and demonstrated outcomes — each rated against independently verified evidence. It's the framework that turns the diligence gap into something a funder can actually see.
Two independent roles
A Lead Reviewer applies the instrument; an Associate Reviewer verifies legal standing, financial practice, and leadership on the ground. Neither works alone.
Confidential identity
The organization is never told who reviewed it. A rating can't be shaped by a relationship with any one person.
Peer-calibrated
No finding is final until another certified reviewer has tested it against specific evidence — not a vote, a defense.
